Pivot Bar

A home owner from New York says:
The pivot shoe on my window broke and I matched that up to a 15-192. The pivot bar also broke, but I don't see one on the website. Here is a picture of my old pivot bar. Do you guys have anything comparable or that will work with the new pivot shoe. Please let me know, thanks.

Hello!

It looks like you have a discontinued Simonton pivot bar that was replaced by the 26-336. This looks a little different but the manufacturer designed it specifically to replace this old part. The bad news is, it's not compatible with the 15-192 Certainteed brand pivot shoe and Simonton no longer makes your old shoe.

To make matters worse, we find that the 15-192 isn't that good of a replacement for Simonton windows to begin with. Fortunately, we have something that can work as a replacement and a video that will walk you through the entire process. Look this over and let me know if you have any questions.

A home owner from New York says:
Hi , so if I replace the shoe and pivot bar with the new ones you recommended , do I also have to replace the coil springs and holder ?
