Pivot Bar

A home owner from DeSoto, MO says:
The pivot bar in my tilt window broke. I was sold a caldwell pivot bar that is approximately 27/7 inch long. When I tried to use the holes did not line up. This is the only label I found on my windows. Is this correct part? If so, do I drill holes to match up? Or do I need a different part? The holes appear to be a 1/4" off.

Hello,

Take a look and compare the dimensions of the 26-422 pivot bar to your original part, paying close attention to the backset of the installation holes. Thanks for posting!
