Pivot Bar

Quick Learner from Port Hope, ON, Canada

One pivot bar snapped. I am looking for a replacement per attachment. It's 2 1/2" long with a 1/2" piece protruding at one end. The stamp on it is OD-857. Thank you. Jim

Hello, thank you for posting,

Unfortunately we do not carry an exact match for this pivot bar. To further review, do you have an undamaged version that is still installed on the sash that we can see the placement? Can we also see the pivot shoe in the window channel that the bar engages with? From there we can determine if we have a possible alternative available. Thank you!

The pivot bars are attached to the lower sides of each sash as per the attached pic. They the fit into your 15-111 pivot shoe 1/2" thick. The bar protrudes out from the side/bottom of the sash at a 90 degree angle and this fits into the shoe. Hope this gives enough info.

Thanks Lauren. Jim

Thanks Jim!

I am going to have one of our senior experts further review to see if we can offer a possible alternative option. I will be in contact as soon as more information is available. Thank you for your patience!

Hello,

The closest we can find for you is the 26-402 side mounted pivot bar. The leg is not as tall as yours. You might be able to match one screw hole but you will need to drill for the other(being careful to not hit the glass). You may also have to file down some of the leg to fit on the side of your sash. The tip extends 1/2" and will fit into 15-111 pivot shoe.

We cannot guarantee it will work, but take a look to see if you think this style could be adapted to your window.
