Pivot Bar replacement

I have 4 windows which need new Pivot Bars. It appears that the bars are held in place with, what appears to be 2 rivets. The picture shows the rivet that was removed from the pivot bar in the picture. Can the rivet be replaces with a screw

Thanks for posting. We've seen this situation with the 26-377 before. The answer is yes, this pivot bar is compatible with a #8 screw like our 33-073. I'm honestly not sure why the old manufacturer went with rivets on this--it's very inconvenient and assumes one would never need to replace the pivot bars. But fortunately screws will work and are certainly a preferable choice. Let me know if you have further questions.
