Pivot Bar and balance

Question

Believe this is pivot bar # 26-428, but can't tell by your picture if

the end is flanged out like mine. It is from a Quaker Alex J window. Will be looking for pivot balance & sash balances for the same. Thank You, Dan

Many thanks for your correspondence. The spiral balance would be our 5/8" thick Series 600 spiral balance for tilt windows. To determine the length, measure the outer tube, not including the colored tip. You then will need to select the proper colored tip option.

As far as your pivot shoe goes, it is no longer available, but we believe you can use the 15-188 as a substitute. It is 1-1/4" wide by 1/2" thick. The 26-428 pivot bar should work for you. Compare the screw hole distance your sash uses on your old pivot bar to the dimensions listed on the 26-428 shop page to confirm this.
