Another question. Getting the channel on the bottom of the sash out of the channel lock shoe is difficult with this design of channel lock shoe. I suspect that there is a clever way of removing the nylon piece that has the tongue on it making it easier to remove and relocate the channel. any ideas?

Thank you for reaching out to us! We may be able to help but we will need more information. Can you remove an undamaged pivot shoe from the window track and show us along with the written-out thickness and width? It sounds like your window doesn't have any cut outs to remove your hardware so we recommend making your own. The video below will show you how.
