Pivot Locking Shoe

Quick Learner from arkansas 72206
I need to replace my pivot locking shoes. Balance has a 28B BSI stamped in it. Both of the pivot shoes are broken. How do I determine my pivot shoe that will fit the balance.

The only way to determine what pivot shoe will replace what's currently installed is by comparing physical details such as design and measurements. You can see our entire selection of pivot shoes here.

My window was made by Philips Products (who has gone out of business). It is 29" long including the plastic window connector at the bottom. It is a block and tackle balance

We believe your bottom T-Lock shoe width is 1", so you would order SerieS795-28 balances, along with 15-194 bottom T-Lock shoes. The stamp option would be 28B.
I have included a video on how to remove and replace the bottom pivot shoes as well.
