Hello,

The defining difference between the two pivot shoes you've chosen is that the 15-188 has a thickness of 1/2", while the 15-178 measures 17/32". You'll need to measure the depth of your shoe to choose between the two, though this may be easier if you can remove a pivot shoe from another window that is in slightly better condition.

If you're still having a hard time, you could even order one of each to try out and confirm which one you need before placing a larger order. Thank you!
