Pivot Shoe Question

A home owner from Grand Rapids, MI, United States says:

Hello,

I am replacing a 29" red tip spiral balance for a tilt window and plan to purchase the S600. However, I noticed that one of the shoes appears to be damaged/broken, but I'm not sure which Swisco part best replaces it. Plus, there are no cutouts and I don't presently have a jamb spreader to take it out and measure/examine more closely.

I appreciate any guidance. Let me know if you need more pictures.

Sincerely,

Stephen

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Hello, Stephen. I'm afraid that I don't recognize your pivot shoe. Would it be possible to get its width and thickness? That will help me track down a good match.

This will require that you remove it ahead of time, though. Since you have no jamb spreaders and the window has no cutout, you'll have to make a cutout of your own. The video below will walk you through how you can do this.
