Pivot Shoe Replacement

Quick Learner from Woodrige, IL
Need to find a replacement pivot shoe for an old window (50-60 years old). Shoe is 1-1/4" wide x 1-3/4" high x 5/8" deep. Cam housing protrudes about 1/8" from the 5/8" depth measurement. Cam appears to be black. Window is 22" x 48" 27lbs. Has two blue spiral balances on each side. measures 1/2" wide by 21" long. Will your 15-070 pivot shoe work on this window? Also, are these spiral balances the same as 5/8" balances even though they measure 1/2" ?

Hello,

I agree that your pivot shoe resembles an older style version of the 15-070. The width and thickness are the key measurements when choosing a replacement pivot shoe, so you should be good to go.

As for the S600 spiral balances, the tube's diameter will actually measure 9/16", but it is considered 5/8" in the trade. Thanks for posting!
