Pivot Shoe Stuck

My pivot shoe is stuck in it's current place. I tried using a screw driver to "turn" the lock as suggested online, but it's nearly impossible. It seems to be too far turned to get the pivot bar to sit into and I'm hesitant to mess with it further. I have cutouts that I could easily use to take the shoe out, but it won't move along the track at all. I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if it just needs to be replaced. Thank you!

Good morning! I think I may be able to help with this issue. Try this: apply a little silicone spray to the track, then remove the tilt bar from the sash. Then, with a pair of pliers, see if you can turn the pivot shoe upright so you can slide it up the track to the cutout.

Thanks so much, this actually worked great! My window is back to functioning like normal.
