Pivot Shoe not fitting into pivot Bar

Question

I thought I bought he correct pivot shoe 5/8 thick.  But after i replace 4 of them and tried to re hang the windows the pivot bar wont fit into the Pivot Shoe. Now i got 20 pivot shoes that wont work and a wide open window.  Is there a different pivot shoe that will fit.If that little piece of plastic in the middle of the pivot shoe was remove then i believe the pivot bar would fit.

Your old pivot shoe isn't made anymore. In my experience, the 15-070 works well as a substitute, though some customers have told me that they had to file it down a little to get it to fit. Others tell me that it works perfectly fine as-is. That's one of those things you won't know till you have it in your hand, unfortunately. Either way, the 15-070 is the best possible replacement option we can recommend.
