Pivot Shoe tabs

A home owner from California says:
I bought the 15-192 pivot shoes with tabs. My old pivot shoes do not have tabs and as a result the new ones don't fit in the channel. Is there a part that doesn't have tabs or do I have to cut/shave the tabs off the new pivot shoes?

The 15-192 is the only version of this shoe made these days. In my experience, it should still replace the old version even if it does have tabs. If yours still doesn't fit, then you can shave them off, yes.
