Pivot bar

Question

I am changing several balances and ordered the wrong pivot bars, I am replacing 6 S795-32 channel balance and the 26-021 are not long enough and don't line up with the existing holes in bottom of window, after removing the old pivot bars they are 3 1/8 long and 1/2 wide I have enclosed the picture of existing ones can you tell me which pivot bars I need. Thanks for reaching out to us. I have heard of this problem from time to time. I'm afraid that we don't have an exact match for your old pivot bar, nor do any of our modern replacements have the reach necessary. Yours is a particularly long version that doesn't appear to be available anymore.

Unfortunately, the only solution we have is to redrill a new hole for the newer style pivot bar to install a little closer to the balance. I know this is a pain, but we haven't been able to find an easier fix. Hopefully that won't be an issue.
