Pivot bar

Home Owner from Catawba, VA
We ordered and received under warranty from M & W Windows now PlyGem replacement sashes for our windows.

And this is the third order of windows with the same pivot bars that are too big.

If you look in picture, last 3 digits-917-that is what our current window has as the pivot bar. Picture, last 3 digits-916 is what they sent us that is too big.

I looked at your website and it looks like you have what is in our originial windows. Let me know what additional information you may need.

Hi there!

We'd be happy to help, but we'll need to see the undamaged pivot bar you'd like to replace removed from your window, along with dimensions, to compare to our inventory. That will help us narrow down some options.

Thank you!

I am slightly afraid to remove the pivot bar becasue the screws that hold it in are slightly rusted. If they break, then I can't put the window back in. Can I measure them in the window and take a close up picture?

I am still trying to get the manufacturer to see if they can replay just the pivot bars.

Thanks,

Linda

Hi, Linda.

I'm afraid we won't be able to provide a recommendation while your pivot bar is still in the window. There are simply too many options. In the meantime, you're more than welcome to browse our selection of pivot bars here.

I certainly understand. The manufacturer of the windows found some old style pivot bars and are sending them to us. So that great! I will be back in touch if we need to go this route.

Thanks again,
Linda
