A home owner from Framingham, MA says:
Hello, I am trying to replace this interlocking pivot bar on our "Comfort Plus" windows. It's 1 5/16ths in overall length.

Thanks for reaching out to us. It's hard to tell exactly what you have while this is still installed, but I think it might be a match for our 26-423. Look this over and see what you think. I highly recommend removing your original so that you can compare it to our 26-423 in full, that way there is no need to guess.

Hey Tom, thanks for responding. The original appears to be riveted in. How do you recommend removing rivets without damaging the Vinyl? Additionally, how would I replace it, without the rivets?
Thanks!

Tom from SWISCO responded:

You would have to drill those rivets out and re-rivet the 26-423 in place. We use the 33-005 pop rivet. We also sell the 75-012S tool, if you don't have one already.

If this is not something you're familiar with or have ever done before, you may want to consider getting a local professional to help. It can be a little tricky if you aren't handy.

A home owner from Framingham, MA says:
Thanks Tom, I'm fairly handy, and hoping to avoid replacing what are otherwise good sashes. I see P# 26-423 is OOS at the moment, so I'll have to wait until it's restocked.
