Hi there!
Thanks for reaching out to us. Your old pivot bar housing was an idea for reducing the cost, but over time, the nylon pivot weakens and breaks. We have a nylon housing that should fit in your sash with a metal pivot bar, the 26-379. Please compare the specifications and see if you think this could work for your sash.
