Pivot bar length a bit short

Updating my old crossbow balances. The hole spacing of the pivot bar 26-366 is a match with old pivot bar. However, the new bar doesn't stick out as far; it's about 1/4" short, so it doesn't reach all the way to engage the balance. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Thanks for writing in. This one is a bit weird. I'm afraid we don't have any pivot bars like the 26-366 with an alternate pin shape. See our 26-318 instead, though. Could you install this on the bottom of your sash in some way?

I filed the old pivot bars, which appear to be like you 26-318, to fit in the hole of the new balance. Not ideal, and doesn't slide smoothly, but seems to be the best I'll be able to do at this time.
