Pivot bar, pivot shoe

Question

I ordered pivot bar 2 1'4" 26-297, but I forgot to order screws for it. So I looked at your website for the screw that goes with it. I saw the Phillips pan 8-32 x 3'8" self-tapping ss machine screw 33-096. It looks like it has a chunk cut out of the end of it. Is it supposed to look like that? Is it the right one to order?

Also, another question. I ordered 15-045 pivot shoe 3'8" thick to go with S900-26 26" series 900 spiral balance. But today I noticed that you also have 15-134 pivot lock shoe 3'8" thick. What is a pivot lock shoe? Should I have ordered that?

Thanks for posting! The 33-096 is the screw we recommend for the 26-297 pivot bar. Don't worry about the gap in the bottom end, you probably won't notice it.

The Series 900 spiral balance is compatible with many, many different pivot shoes, including both the 15-045 and 15-134. You will need to use your old shoe as a reference for which one of these is the better match.
