Pivot bar replacement for upper sash on old vinyl window

Quick Learner from Hooksett, NH
Hi could you identify the replacement for the pivot bar pictured in photos. It may be from Certaiteed or Simonton. has 2 numbers stamped, o3 on bottom, 11 on top; 2 holes, 2-5/8" long. The pivot housing is original, see picture (metal, slightly oval.
Thanks,
Don

Hello,

It looks like you have the old Simonton pivot bar that was discontinued and replaced with the 26-336. Even though it looks different, it should fit in the original pivot shoe. Review the specifications below and see what you think.

Hi,
is there any way to get a measurement from the end of the pivot bar to the ring on the right side of the picture (26-336)? I ask as there is an indentation in the pivot bar housing that might not allow ring on pivot bar to fit in same as the "T" on the old pivot bar. I uploaded another picture, different angle to allow you to see what I mean.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Don

I see exactly what you mean. Some customers have found it necessary to shave down the collar of the 26-336 to accommodate the cam as you mentioned. Since the original version of your pivot bar is no longer available, this would be our best replacement option.

Also, for clarification, the collar starts 1/4" from the tip of the pivot bar that engages with the pivot shoe cam.
