Pivot bars and pivot shoes for Simonton windows

Handy Person from Houston
I already ordered the wrong parts (15-192) They look very similar. The dimensions on the drawing of the (15-192) appear to be correct for my frames, but the new shoes have small guides that prevent them from fitting into the track.
The present shoes have broken due to corrosion from contact with Sea-Air.
Do I have to replace the pivot shoes and the pivot bars as a set?
Are there any that better resist the salt-water in the air?

Hello,

We actually offer the video below that shows our recommendations for the Simonton version of the 15-192 coil balance shown below.

The 15-192 that you already purchased could still work for you but you would need to swap out the metal cam and reuse the cam from the original pivot shoe. We have also had past customers report that they needed to shave down the front of the shoe to install it, which is why we created the conversion video. Just keep in mind that the part can not be returned once it is modified. Unfortunately, these replacement parts are not offered in stainless steel. Review both options and see which you'd prefer. Thank you!
