Pivot lock shoes

A home owner from Freehold, NJ says:
As you see in the photos, the plastic piece is broken. I am looking for a replacement. It is off of a Norandex/Reynolds window 33 x 43 1/2 Prism Platinum White Double Hung Window.. Can you advise me if you have just the plastic piece or the whole unit. I only need one but if I need to change both side, then I will take two.

Thanks for writing in. Your pivot shoe looks like our 15-192. This shoe is compatible with our Series 170 and Series 171 Coil Balances. If your coil springs are undamaged, then you really only need to replace the pivot shoe. However if the springs are damaged, then it might be best to replace the springs on both sides of the sash, as if the springs on one side snapped, the other may not be far behind from failing. If you only have one spring on each side of the sash, then you need a Series 170. If you have two springs per side, the Series 171 stacks on top of the Series 170. Let us know if you have any questions.
