I have a vinyl window that the top window will not stay up. I took it apart and I found the metal piece from the window that goes into a plastic piece that's gets attached to the spring is broken. The metal piece from the window is broken. I attached some pictures. my name is Lance

Hey Lance, thanks for reaching out. Without seeing the whole pivot bar it's a bit hard to tell, but we've narrowed down. Start by checking out our 26-400 and 26-369 pivot bars. If neither of these appear to be a match, we'll need to see the whole thing removed. Preferably undamaged if you can prevent it.
