Pivot pins

Question

I searched your website and have seen similar pivot pins to these but not the exact ones. The bottom screw hole is appx 1/8" less than what you show for the 3" straight pivot pin. You have others like this with a different "shoe" or pin end. Is there one available that is a better fit?

Hello,

We are familiar with this pivot bar, but unfortunately, it is no longer in production. The only product we have that might be a suitable alternative is our 26-446.

Dimensions for 26-446

The design of this part is nearly identical, but there is one significant difference. The front tip has a round collar at the end instead of the flat "T" shape found on your original part. The only way to make this work would be to grind down that collar to a flat shape.

We understand that this is not a simple task, and even after modifying it, there’s no guarantee it will work. However, it is our best option. Take a look and see what you think. Thanks for posting.
