Looking for pivot rod for vinyl single hung tilt in window. Purchased at Home Depot about 20 years ago. Maybe solar industries? Not sure.

Hello there. This looks a bit like the 26-366 Pivot Bar, but please compare with all the dimensions below and let me know if you think this could work for you.

Your channel balance resembles the S765-30. Your stamp would correspond to the 29-3 strength option, which will support a sash between 14-21 lbs. Just let us know if you need anything else.

Hi Bob. Are the dimensions 1/2" by 1/2"? What is the thing sticking out above the frame on top. Is there a hole in top of it to connect to the window frame? Also do you sell a tool to hook the eyelet on bottom to help load it into shoe. LMK ty

The eyelet attaches to the top of the window jamb with a screw while the clip shown below attaches to the pivot shoe below the balance. It looks like yours has broken off so I would recommend checking an intact balance from another window to confirm yours installs the same way.

Mine are single hung tilt in and all of them have the eyelet at the bottom connecting to the shoe. This one you sent pic of may be for double hung upper sash? LMK

It seems like you have balances similar in design to the S765 but installed differently without the bottom tab shown on our balance. If so, we do not carry an exact match but the S770-30 installs like yours with a screw at the top and a terminal clip used to attach the pulley to the pivot shoe.

This may be a better replacement option for your application but you'll need to confirm the exact weight of the sash the balances support to confirm the corresponding strength options since these balances use a different weight system. There is a chart on the product page that explains how to choose your option based on the sash weight.

Ok. It weighs 13 pounds. LMK your thoughts ty you again Bob!

Ok. It weighs 13 pounds. Looks like the 30 b option, and  It lists the width at 9/16, but doesn't list the depth. Can you confirm the depth please. LMK your thoughts ty you again Bob!

I agree that if your sash weighs exactly 13 pounds, the S770-30 (30B) would be our best replacement option. The Series 770 should measure around 5/8" thick but is considered 1/2" in the trade.
