Pivot shoe 15-015

How do you remove the window sash from this type of shoe? Does the whole sash need to be "twisted" out?

Hello,

To remove the sash, you'll need to raise the sash about six inches above the sill, then tilt the sash in and carefully twist it to remove pivot bars from the pivot shoe. Pivot shoes with closed cams like the 15-015 can be tricky since there is no opening for the pivot bar to easily pop out, so it does require some patience and elbow grease to disengage the sash. Thanks for posting and let us know if you need anything else.
