Pivot shoe

Question

Hi,  I had someone come out to measure the balancers & took pics of the pivot shoe.  The balancer (spindle top measures 29" & 3/8 wide)  the pivot boot is 2" top to bottom & an inch wide.  I am attaching photos of the boot.  He will need to cut a notch at top to remove.

Thanks for writing in! Based on the dimensions you confirmed, the spiral balance you'll need is our S900-29. To determine the tip color needed for your balance you'll need to take a look at the plastic tip at the end of yours.

If your tip does not match our tip colors, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of your sash. Once you have the sash weight you'll be able to select the tip color your need according to the sash weight ranges listed.

Your pivot shoe looks a lot like our 15-045. Although to confirm the dimensions you will need to remove this shoe from the window channel to compare the measurement.
