Pivot shoe ID

Handy Person from Indianapolis, IN
Is this a sellf braking pivot shoe that has no lift mechanism? There doesn't appear to be a lift mechanism in there but they won't stay up.

Hello,

We can't be sure with the pivot shoe still installed, but your part resembles the 15-111 shown below. This shoe is commonly used with the 1/2" thick Series 160 coil springs. If there are no coil springs, I'd suggest checking an identical window to ensure the hardware matches yours. You'll also need to weigh the sash you're repairing to choose the correct strength options for the new springs. Thanks for posting.
