How do you decide where in the channel to locate the pivot shoe prior to attaching the spiral balance?

Hello,

As shown in our video below, it's a good idea to lock the pivot shoes in place a few inches above the window sill, slightly staggered to make reinstalling the window sash easier. Thank you!
