Hello!
I'm trying to find the correct Pivot Shoe replacement for the windows in my house. I ordered part #15-220 recently and I found that they are not the right width (slightly narrower so under tension they are slipping off of the window frame. Also, the top slots where the balancer springs lock in are angled and will not receive the pins on the balance spring.
The original pivot shoes had soft metal(lead, maybe?) inserts which fit in the top of the pivot shoe. Over time the metal inserts weakened and broke.
I have not been able to determine the manufacturer of these windows. The house was built in 1999.
