Pivot shoe and spiral balance questions

Question

I have no idea the maker of the window. They are 22 years old. The pivot shoe is 1 1/4 wide, 2 1/4 high, 1/2 inch thick. Has a number 590CSB on it. What part number should I order?

In regards to the spiral balance its 3/8 inch 29 inches long. But has no color coding. Is there a "standard color" best to utilize?

Unfortunately, the manufacturer that made your shoe has gone out of business but we usually suggest our 15-118 as a replacement. Take a look and see if this could work for you as well. Keep in mind that the part in your photo appears to have deteriorated quite a but so it will be hard to get reliable dimensions.

For your balance, we would need to see a photo of your balance removed from the window, as well as confirm the diameter of the tube, to recommend a possible replacement. If you think you know the correct replacement and are just stumped on the tip color, you'll need to weigh your window sash and follow the chart under the product description on the balance page to choose the correct color option.
