Plastic cap on my bifold door rods

Question

I need to replace the plastic caps on the end of the metal rods.  Rods are 5/16.  Doors are about 50 yrs old.

Thanks for contacting SWISCO. Our nylon caps inner diameter is 1/4" and there isn't a nylon cap with an inner diameter 5/16". I would suggest, removing your nylon caps to determine the inner diameter. You can also send us a photo of the complete pin in the door to see if we recognize it.
