We are wanting to purchase the whole housing and parts for the the side of the wincow that allows the window to slide properly up and down and tilt out. The plastic part that holds the string and spring etc which is housed inside the metal casing is broken on both sides. This is located on the left side of the window. We could not find the brand of the window, but know the property was built 8-10 years ago.

Thanks for posting! We can help replace this balance, but it will have to be specially made. Before we begin, can you tell me the width of the metal channel? Can you also tell me the weight of the sash? Finally, how many did you need? Thank you!

The only way to get the weight is simply to remove the window and put it on a scale. Let us know when you have the length and weight measurements, as well as the quantity of balances you need.

I will have to measure the metal channel. I have no idea the weight of the sash! Would a photo of the window help? How would I determine the weight?
