Plastic parts and balances for Kinco windows

Quick Learner from Melbourne FL
I have 6 kinco windows which need new plastic parts and/or balances. The balance on one window has 29 8(BSI sideways)16 (? smaller) stamped on it. The balances are spring/pulley. Also will need punches and rivets, particularly if I have to select sizes/depths. Some windows have a lot of side to side slop. Balance is 1/2-9/16. Not sure if some had wings, and they busted off. Have some more photos.

Thanks. Torai

Based on your photos, you have either our S380-30 or S385-30. The only difference between them is the size of the bottom fitting, which is indicated on their respective store pages. You'll need to measure your bottom fitting to confirm which one is the better match.

There's no need for punches and rivets. Our balances come fully assembled and ready to install out of the box. You may just want to weigh your sash on a scale to determine the proper stamp option, since 29-8 is pretty peculiar.

Finally, I'm not sure about the top sash guide. Can you show me an undamaged version? That may help us track down a good match.

Added more pictures, and answered your questions.

Weight: I have 4 36" wide windows which weigh 15.0 lb and 2 52" wide windows which weigh 20.4 lb. all are the same height; the metal part of the balance is 30" All the same height.

One 36" wide window has a lot of side to side slop (1/2" or so, window almost can come out, measured a little wider than the other 36" wide windows.) and has a 1" shoe. Probably need the 1 3/32. I probably should order 1-3/32" parts, and cut them down as needed (I have a milling machine, which can trim them to +/- 0.001"). Can't make the smaller ones bigger. Ch bal Top is winged.

Top sash pictured. Would guess 18-166.

Thank you! So that would be the 2920 stamp for the 15 pound sash and the 2930 stamp for the 20.4 pound sash. Those should work well for you.

I agree that the top sash guide is similar to the 18-166, as long as all the dimensions match up.

Finally, for that face guide, see our 67-026.
