Plastic piece that holds the coil

Question

The plastic is broken on one of them. It looks like it has 2 coils inside it. I order the piece below it in the picture x 2. I also ordered a coil but, it looks too big even though i ordered based on what was stamped on the old one.

It looks like you purchased the 15-263 shoe and S195-3, but I don't think these are right. You shouldn't have gone by the stamp on the spring, that's not a product code at all and shouldn't be your sole basis for picking out a match. The only thing that tells you is how much weight the spring carries.

We can help, but I'll need to see a photo of your balance assembly out of the window. I'd also like you to tell me how thick the original spring is.
