Plastic revolving latch is old and cracks very easily

Hi. Our windows are about 24 years old. They are in great shape, but the internal plastic parts have become ridged and break easily. That?s especially a problem with the rotating mechanism that attaches to the coil. Many thanks for and help you can provide!

Thanks for posting. I am afraid your coil springs are no longer made. However, if they are still in good condition, you will just need to replace your pivot shoe with something like our 15-141. Just look over the measurements to confirm they are a match with yours. If you should also need to replace the springs, then you will need to replace both pieces. See our 15-140 pivot shoe and Series 150 coil springs and see what you think.
