Plastic sheath on spiral balance cracking off

Is it possible to simply replace the sheath is the rest of the spiral balance seems to be working fine?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the outer casing of the housing tube can't be replaced but our replacement balances have metal housings, so you won't have to worry about that part breaking down again.

To identify what you need, we will need to see an undamaged balance removed from the window including the spiral end, the colored tip, and confirm the housing diameter (3/8" or 5/8"). Thank you!
