Plastic thingy broke

Question

Please call me, my 1/2" wide window channel balance popped up in the channel. I think the plastic thingy on the top of it that held it in place may have broken. Maybe that's why it popped up? Mike

To start with, I agree that the top guide that holds the balance in place below the sash is likely broken. There's a good chance that we can supply a replacement but we will need to see an undamaged guide removed from the other side or an identical window in the house to compare to our inventory. We can also supply replacement balances since your top attachment appears to be broken but we would need to see the rest of the balance removed from the window to compare to our inventory. The bottom fitting, pulley clip, and stamp on the metal channel will help us narrow down your replacement options. Thank you!
