Plastic window guide/part

A landlord from New Jersey says:
I've never seen windows like this before. These plastic guides? or whatever they are called, are on the top edges of all the lower panes.

they screw on from the side.

We need about a dozen, they probably all cracked because windows were forced when they were not lubricated?

These top sash guides are our 18-032 in white. You should also check your window balances for wear, and lubricate the springs with oil. You can lubricate the window tracks, too, but use silicone.
A landlord from NJ and PA says:
18-032 worked out fine. but some of the window balances DO need to be replaced.

My handyman took them out.

He said some were stamped
"2820", others were stamped "2620".
But he said they were EXACTLY alike.
What should I order?

He also said many of the (full sized) windows only had one channel balnce. Is that normal?

Paul from SWISCO responded:
On the aluminum replacement windows you have, some of the manufacturers used one balance per sash. That's normal. For your 2820 balance, you would most likely need to order a S390-29 channel balance with a weight option of "2820." For the 2620, you would want the S390-27 with an option of "2620."
