Please help identify the ends of my channel balance 2820

Question

I have identified the channel balance used in my windows. It is 2820 printed on the body of the channel balance. However, I am very confused with the ends of it because there are so many different types of ends and I just cannot find any one like mine.

The pictures with dimensions for the top my channel balance end are shown in Capture 4 and Capture 3. I would very grateful if you could help me identify the ends of my channel balance so that I can buy new ones to replace them in my old house. Many thanks!

Hello there!

Based on what I see here, you could have either our S351-29 or S390-29 channel balance. These two parts are very similar but the important difference is the depth of the bottom shoe. You'll notice our Series 351 comes attached with a 1" deep shoe, and the Series 390 comes attached with a 1-1/8" deep shoe so you'll need to measure as shown below. You will also need to select the 2820 spring strength option.
