Please help identifying window balances

I have a 1/2" wide window balance I need to replace. It measures 26 1/16" from end to end on the metal frame only not including to plastic attachment pieces.

This is S351-26 or S390-26. I'm leaning toward S390-26, but you can measure to tell. The photo below shows the 1" shoe used on the Series 351 versus the 1-1/8" shoe used by the Series 390. Both of these balances can be purchased with the "2530" option your old balance was stamped with.

Yes, absolutely. Your shoe wore down over time, I believe.

When measuring the shoe I am getting a measurement closer to 1 1/16", should I go with 1 1/8" series 390?
