I have a broken one on a different window but have no idea what this piece is even called. Please help.

See our 26-193 and 26-194 Tilt Latches. Compare the dimensions and see if you think these could work for you.

Thank you very much. If I'm measuring correctly, mine is about 3 1/2 inches. I'll see if I can find that size. I don't really know what I'm doing. :)

The overall length of the 26-193 and 26-194 is 3-9/16", so that sounds about right. The 2-5/8" designates the distance between the center of each mounting hole. Please refer to the pictures on the tilt latch shop pages to see all the dimensions. To be honest, I'm highly certain these are the tilt latches you need based on their skinny appearance; but it pays to compare the dimensions listed in the pictures to be sure.
