Our home was built in 2001. Contractor grade vinyl double hung windows. No identifying stickers on any windows in house.
Attached is a photo of what I believe is called a bulb gasket for the bottom of the windows.
Best measurements are as follows (weather stripping has oxidized and broken; tough to get an accurate measurement):
Flat side (faces outside on bottom) 1/4" height
Bulb: !/4" height, 1/4" width (has foam filling)
Width of track 3/16"
Need enough replacement stripping for 17 windows.
Kind of a rush job - I am due to have surgery in 10 days.
Thanks!
Charles

Hey, Charles. I'm afraid I cannot identify what you have from these photos. We'll need you to remove a small sample and show us a picture of its end profile. If you look at the first picture in this thread, we'll need something like that. That's a perfect picture. Please make sure the sample is as undamaged as possible. We probably won't be able to ID what you have if there are pieces missing. |
