Bifold door bumper

We have a 90s style bifold door...2 sets for a bedroom closet. We have the original metal track. When we bought a new hardware set, the bumper doesn't fit in the track. Some people call it a Snugger as well. It's the little spring that sits in the middle of the track to keep the doors from popping open. Anyway, we called and spoke to Shadia. She said to send photos and measurements to help identify the size we'd need. I have attached a photo of the track with measurements as well as the photo of the bumper that does not fit. It appears the overall opening in the track is 7/8" and the middle canal is 3/8". Please advise us on how to measure and what we need. Thank you.
