Ply Gem Window - 18" X 30" Single Hung

Metal channel of balancer length is 25.5 inches.

The clip became disengaged from the hole on the inside track of window frame and snapped down to the foot position of the balancer. I don't know if it's possible to pull it back up to the top of the balancer, reattach it to the clip hole on the inside window track and then bring the window sash back down to engage the balancer once again? Or I need new balancers for that window and don't know what model to order.

Looking forward to your assistance as I've not ever done such a repair before. I can send different photos if necessary. Thank you!

Adding an update to my original post. I found the Ply-Gem model take-out clips from our home's window package original installation. They are plastic and can be brittle in spots depending on the sun exposure. Attached is a photo that shows a different window frame and position of the take-out clips for the single and double-hung windows.

Beneath the take-out clip this picture demonstrates what the balancer clips look like when they are attached to the interior track of the window frame.

I did it! Those take out clips turned out to be the biggest challenge. My balance was not damaged and fit right back into place and the window is operating normally again.
