Ply Gem window lock

Home Owner from North Attleboro MA
Hello,

I have 1998 PlyGem double hung windows. I have a few windows that the locks are very loose. I have had them lock into place.
I can't seem to find this type in your catalog.
As you can see from the pictures, only the latch is visible on top of the window but the locking mechanism is mortised into the interior rail.

Could you help?
Thank you,
Dianne

Hello,

Your sash lock resembles our 90-294. Take a look and compare the specifications below to your part. Let us know if you have any other questions and thanks for posting!

Hi Casey,

This piece is very close but mine has a rounded back not flat (see picture) that dimension is 1".
All the other dimensions are the same.

I noticed there is a number on the round grey locking portion: #9933. Does this help?

Thank you,
Dianne

As long as the 29/32" depth measurement is the only difference and the installation holes align with yours, I don't think that it will be a problem. Since our lock is a bit smaller than yours I believe it should fit fine in your sash. The only possible issue that I can think of is if the handle didn't align with the opening in your sash frame, but it does appear to sit in about the same position as yours. Despite the difference in shape, this would be our best replacement option for your sash lock. If you decide to give it a try and run into any problems, our return policy can be found here
