Post the lock latches on to.

One of the posts that is welded to the window frame for a Living brand window lock broke, and the latch won't lock. Is there a part for this that I can jb weld onto the frame?

Hello,

It sounds like you're looking for just the keeper that you latch engages with. I'm honestly not sure if we can supply a suitable replacement due to the age of your hardware but we would like to see the entire keeper uninstalled if possible to be sure. Also, please note that our parts are not designed to be welded in place and would be installed with screws. Thank you.

If we take the broken post/keeper off , do you have one that we can screw on to the window frame to replace it?

You mentioned that the original keeper is welded in place. If that is the case, you would need to figure out a way to remove the original keeper and determine if the frame beneath that area is intact in order to make new installation holes for a new keeper. We've related a few of our face-mounted keepers on this page for you to review but we won't be able to determine if one of them might work without seeing the original uninstalled.
