Hi Folks. I have 32 year old Pozzi windows, and on several of them there is a plastic part that is broken. I don't know the name of the part but I am attaching photos. It functions to keep the inside edge of the window against the frame during opening and closing. Do you have such a part in stock. I need several of them. Thanks so much, Wayne
Pozzi casement window replacement parts
This is a guide for a casement window hinge. We don't sell these separately, unfortunately, and to my knowledge there is no company who does. You will need an all new hinge assembly in each instance of these breaking.
We can help, but I'll need a clear photo of the hinge in question so that I may make a recommendation.
Thanks, Wayne! These photos are a huge help.
By hinge, I just mean the pivot arms that mount on the top and bottom of the sash. The crank operator looks like it's in good condition and can still be reused.
Now, we don't sell your exact hinge, but I feel confident that our 36-048 can be used to replace it. The catch is that you have to replace the top and bottom at the same time; these have a lot of wiggle room in terms of using different styles, but you don't want to mix old and new styles together.
The video below will go into more information. If this is on a second story window then contacting someone near you to do it for you isn't a bad idea, but I unfortunately don't have any contacts in your area. We're only located in South Jersey and my knowledge is honestly just limited to my neighborhood.
