The interior thumb latch broke on my Prime Window systems sliding glass door. I'm trying to find the proper replacement parts to repair the door. The screw holes on the handle measure 4 inches on center.

We sell the 82-107 thumb latch. Review the specifications and see how they compare with yours. Note that a broken thumb latch is often a sign that the mortise lock may need to be replaced as well.

I tried to replace just the thumb latch already and it did not assemble properly into the door latch. When I contacted the manufacturer of my sliding glass door, they told me that The thumb latch is not available as a single component. It comes with the complete handle set, and I can source the handle set through the website SWISCO.COM. Can you please provide me with the part number for the proper handle set? Thank you!

Thanks for clarifying. If you'd like a new handle set, I recommend the 82-086. This measures 3-15/16" on the installation hole centers and the thumb lever is fixed in the offset position. You'll want to double-check the old handle's installation hole center spacing to be safe. Review the specifications for this part and see if it matches up with what you need.

Note that we don't sell dummy handles.

The installation hole center is correct, but the overall length of mine is 9.5". This will work but it will be one inch shorter than the handle on the other door. Also, the lock on the opposite side of the lever matches mine, so that is good. Do you by chance have this same assembly in a 9.5 inch overall length? If not, I suppose I'll order this one. Thank you!

I'm afraid we don't. The 82-086 would be the best we can offer.
