got 5 windows that were installed about 20-22 years ago--pat least one not installed right. Prism double Hing Quality Control & testing AAMA Certification Program 27 1/2" X 48 1/4" on sticker inside upper sash. 2 different spring lengs--2 longer ones for inside/upper shash. strings broken on some--springs disconnected on some, white plastic slides, parts to Channell Balances cracked or broken. Hello,
The old-style block and tackle balance in your photos are no longer available but the S775-27 is a direct replacement. You'll round down for the length since our balances are measured on an even inch. You'll also need to weigh your sashes and follow the chart under the product description to choose the corresponding strength option. Thanks for posting.

thanks for your help.. So, yes the series 775-27 would work--just that mine are only 22" long. So the S775-22 is good, but the ,shoe size is 1 1/4" and the weight is 10 lbs--. The stamp option 2200 is good for sash weights of 6-17 lbs, but a shoe size of only 1". the 2201 is good for shoe size odf 1 1/4" but for heavier sash's--17-21 lbs. we're getting close--i thank you very much. We appreciate your patience as we checked on this for you. Unfortunately, the S775-22 balance is not available with a 1-1/4" shoe for the 2200 strength option that your window requires. I'm sorry that we won't be able to provide the balances needed for your repair.
